Oh Love in GD:RB?

Is there any plan to add Oh Love into Green Day as a playable track? I wouldn't mind having it in there with the rest of the stuff in the game. It's not a huge deal if it's not going to be added, but it would be a great feature for people who still play it.

That would be pretty cool to see, but I don't think HMX is really going to support such inconsequential updates to an older game.

On top of the usual reasons you can't play the song in Rock Band 1 and 2, every Green Day: Rock Band song has unique animations, so they'd have to full motion capture on the song.

Seeing as you got your answer, gonna do a quick hi-jack. Anyone know if the pro drum chart on 'Homecoming" was fixed with the re-release of the song as DLC? I'm talking about the snare roll charted to the yellow cymbal. Definitely a song I would repurchase if it was fixed.

Nope, not to mention the sales on the GDRB weren't so great so that's another reason why.

Triple confirmed, there are no plans to bring "Oh Love" to GDRB. Beyond the reasons other posters brought up (unique animations, smaller audience on an older title, etc) there's also the post RB3 authoring standards to consider (i.e. the keys authoring, which would be like porting an RB3 era song to RB2).

So year, from the technical perspective alone it just wasn't a possibility.
