suggest some romantic / love-themed songs

    hi.

what better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than playing some Rock Band 3 with friends? (don't answer that).

can you help me compile a list of love-themed / romantic songs available as DLC and any from the imports (in short anything I have or could get) so I can create a sort of "suggestion list" to go on top of my set list for tomorrow?

I started by putting together the Valentine's Day releases for 2013, 2012 and 2011...but even some of those (Airplanes...) aren't that romantic.

I'll also go through the setlist and see what jumps out at me but in case I miss something...please help me out!

    thanks!

    Without You - Motley Crue

You're All I've Got Tonight - The Cars

You Got It - Roy Orbison

    Don't Stop Believing - Journey

There's a lot more but I'm too lazy to go through them all.

I'm very, very tempted to suggest Closer by NIN.

But I guess I'll suggest the following instead:

    the whole Chicago pack
She's Always a Woman to Me - Billy Joel
Blue Sky - the Allman Brothers
Feels Like the First Time, Waiting for a Girl Like You - Foreigner
    Somebody to Love - Queen
You Got Me Floatin' - Jimi Hendrix
Love Me Two Times - The Doors
I Just Died in Your Arms - Cutting Crew

    Love Will Tear Us apart?

I'd recommend it, but not as a romantic song.

If you're on the XBox, I shared a 25-song set list that covers all the Valentine's Day themed DLC, and a handful of other love-related songs from the catalog. Note that these cover both romantic and "lost love" songs, along with a few others that could make somebody wince (but not like they would with "Closer"!).
It's all right. Everything will work out fine.

Ever notice how much easier it is to find love songs pre-1990s?
