I'd bet money on "Don't You (Forget About Me)"
I would be satisfied with that song, since it would effectively complete my awesome 80s playlist in Rock Band.

How about, as their way of giving us the Stone Cold Salute, "Last Song" by Edward Bear.

That's not to say I know (I'm no RP), but I do have an idea at least.
You have no idea. If Led Zeppelin can happen, it would have already. Harmonix aren't stupid. They know that Led Zeppelin are popular and that people want them. They've worked with over 600 artists to license over 2,000 master recordings. They got The Beatles before iTunes. They know what they're doing. If an artist that popular isn't in Rock Band, it's because they don't want to be.

Neither: Argent. But all three of those would be great, even though it's not going to happen.

If I had to make a real guess, it'd be "American Pie" like many others are guessing.

I'd also bet on "Closing Time", but wouldn't mind The Who's "Long Live Rock" if we're throwing out fantasy predictions.

If I had a choice to make as the last DLC, it doesn't have to be something poignant, just something epic:

Side 1 of Thick as a Brick by Jethro Tull-has all the instruments.

my personal choice although it doesn't have all instruments(but some could be faked)

Side 1 of Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield

    I'll settle for American Pie

"Closing Time" isn't the band name; they're called Semisonic.
And hey! isn't THAT generic, it's least an above average Pop-Rock song.

"Hey Jude" by the Beatles why not right?

(before some anal nerd jumps at me I'll just be clear and say I'm joking...)
