Since I saw the Store would close, I thought they should close doing for [CENSORED] as they did for AC/DC, with a standalone Track Pack.

the store is not closing... Harmonix are just not releasing new dlc.. the store and servers and leaderboards etc all will still be up

I find it very irksome when people post what they want to see as the final song, as opposed to what they think the final song will be.

I'd bet money on "Don't You (Forget About Me)"

I would be satisfied with that song, since it would effectively complete my awesome 80s playlist in Rock Band.

I'm not just a blissful idiot, I've put some thought on the matter after analyzing everything that has been said about it, and I concluded that it CAN happen, as long as you know how to do it. That's not to say I know (I'm no RP), but I do have an idea at least.

You have no idea. If Led Zeppelin can happen, it would have already. Harmonix aren't stupid. They know that Led Zeppelin are popular and that people want them. They've worked with over 600 artists to license over 2,000 master recordings. They got The Beatles before iTunes. They know what they're doing. If an artist that popular isn't in Rock Band, it's because they don't want to be.
