It's not about snarky its just a label that despite huge underground following you can end up without a "hit". Personally I think albums should decide if its a one hit wonder. If a band consistently sells well, they're obviously more established and timeless than say a band who only had one hit album and everything else bombed.

I agree with Witticus. For example, Frank Zappa only had one hit, while Ace of Base had several more. But all of Ace of Base's real hit singles were from one album, so to they really count as a success?

I'm not usually one to ***** about how HMX charts songs, but does Got You (Where I Want You) seem severely under charted for drums, especially considering how simple the beat/pattern is for the most part?

Don't get me wrong, I know Queensryche has a legacy behind them. Operation: Mindcrime is only hosted on countless Best Prog Albums Ever lists everywhere.

Meanwhile, if I wanted to listen to twangy 90s alternative with some ham-fisted organ punched in there, I'd listen to the Screaming Trees or Weezer. Or even Sublime. I've warmed to Sublime. Not The Flys, though. That song has no heart put into it.
