As a huge Queensr˙che fan, I'm so happy to see all this love for the band.
Does anyone know why Geoff Tate's final "I" in Silent Lucidity doesn't show up in the RB version? No usable master?
I do. It's buried in the mix. That final I, which is a great part of the song, is buried in the backing mix with the talkies in the middle, strings, etc. I don't know how the master tracks were delivered to Harmonix so I don't know what they had to work with, but I can safely say that I is not in the vocals or backing vocals track. That's why you can't hear it. I had a chance to listen months ago to the separated tracks and the version I listened to had strings, talkies and that I in one track, with the I being mixed very low. Such a shame but I'm sure Harmonix did the best job with what they had.
Ok Witt, you sucked me in on that one. Really? I thought you were much more enlightened than that. Obviously all the pain meds from your mishap screwed some stuff around in there.
And I thought you knew how to read, when I already explained this comment.
