I went to see Queensryche and Dream Theater, for the last song, Both bands were on stage and did a cover of Pink Floyd's Confortably Numb. It was epic. Would love that for Rock Band.

Hogan2000 gives a cup to the ear, the Hogan pose, and two thumbs up, apparently!

Well, nothing for me this week, which is kind of sad considering its one of the final weeks of RB DLC. But oh well, congrats to the fans, and RB is still awesome, no matter what!
    Same.

Saw the same show....was very good. While Geddy can't sing any more so I'm not much interested in their current live shows....in the heyday (let's say 1992) a Rush / Dream Theater / Queensryche triple-header would have caused my brain to melt.

Pretty nice. My hope for the waning few weeks of DLC is that we'll get a few more "essentials." I'm not sure if Staind could ever qualify as essential, but it is nice to get a couple of their signature hits.

I didn't know the Queensryche song, but a little wiki-reading shows that it is definitely an essential. More importantly, I really dug it! It's haunting, and very unique. Definite buy.

Lastly, the Flys. Kind of a weird one-off alt-rock band: I remember in 97? 98? When that song was big for about 6 weeks, then poof! Anyway, definitely no essential, but my favorite song of the week and a surprise great choice for pro! (At least, for a novice like me, who likes simple songs).
Who doesn't love a good album sort? Fill in those 3's HMX!

    ALT/INDIE WANTED:
    Radiohead - Pavement - National - Arcade Fire - Wilco - Decemberists

Really? Silent Lucidity might be good on keys. I guess I won't know for sure until Tuesday though.

Well in fairness it's the only one I haven't heard yet. I'll give it a listen.

    Just Staind's "It's been a while".
    DLC wishlist:
    None.
