Severed drum wire

Hello everyone,

When I discovered that my yellow pad was cracked I foolishly pulled too hard when removing the pad and severed the wire that leads to what I assume is the brain.

As I am not very clever with wiring how would I go about fixing this. (The severed wire not the crack).

I am using drums from Rock Band 1.

It probably invloves soldering, but a picture would help further.

Can't see that well, but I think you need to change the wire. Any conductive wire would do.
