I mean come on Harmonix, is this really how you wanted this game to be played. The same pinballers win almost every tournament song and I know you see it, why is this fair or even fun. NERF IT!!!

Because if this were a few months ago, you'd be complaining about the flame notes. Just like all competitive games, sometimes certain powers are a bit too powerful. Then again, you've got the same advantage as them with the same powers, why not get better?

LOL@get better. I am in the top 20 on nearly every song of the 500 or so that I own. I never complained about flame notes, because pinballers could still beat the scores. I am just saying that this game is no longer fun because there is no chance of winning a tournament unless you use this tactic and it is getting very old. My GT is: o 5TurnTableS o if you think I am no good then you have never seen me in top 10's on many songs, WITHOUT USING PINBALL. I just think that it is lame that the same people win the tourneys every time because of a fluke.

And mine is Micastrophic, so you can see that everyone beats me 13 year old alone at home, but yet I still have fun. Just enjoy the game and accept that some people are better.

The only thing they are better at is exploiting a lame power-up. I have had a lot of fun on this game since it came out, that is why I am saying it is not fun anymore. I would like to see just one tournament where they take away pinball (yes they can do this) and see who is on top, I guarantee it won't be the same 5 people it always is.

I agree, our youth is being corrupted by pinballing. It starts off by peer pressure at a party. "Hey, let's go in the back and pinball for a few laughs"

The next thing you know you're pinballing strangers in an ally for a few bucks. The soup kitchen won't serve you because your wild pinballed out eyes scare the other homeless people. By age 20 you have a massive cardiac infarction and your parents weep openly at your funeral, which is closed casket because of the pinball scars all over your face.

Pinballing must be stopped.

The same players will always win. That's just how it goes. Pinball didn't ruin the game. Nerfing a highly competitive powerup like flame notes did and made this situation that much worse. There is always going to be an imbalance or optimal way of scoring in a song and in a game that is about getting the highest score possible then I don't see why you wouldn't want to use the best possible strategy to achieve such a score.

The problem was making flame notes useless and none of the other powerups can match the scoring potential of pinball. There really isn't much you can do now. You can either learn to get better with pinball and stop complaining that people are trying to use the best strategy possible in a tournament, or just not care about getting the top score.

If flame notes were at 1,500 there would be more variety in powerup loadouts and such.

The reason why people are derailing this thread is because this thread is ridiculous with how you started it.
