What I REALLY want is a Bass Solo Tour.
I think we all sort of assumed it was coming. I'm sure it's being worked on and tested. We see Halo 3 with 4-player CO-OP and resistance 2 is shooting for 8-player CO-OP and 60 man deathmatches. I see no reason why it can't be implemented. I would like to see Bass Solo too. (Could use some extra gamerscore.)

I think if we get the Online BWT patch this game will see an explosion in popularity. I'm older it's harder to coordinate everybody with work/school to meet up and jam. This way I play throughout the week instead of the weekend.

Simple Man and Wrathchild? Dear mother of God. I love you Harmonix. Seriously. I love you. By the way, you misspelled Lynyrd Skynyrd.

IMO i wish they put some more mainstream songs in there.
i mean, all these songs from metallica, sabbath, rush, maiden etc are good for the hardcore gamers loking for more challenge but rockband is a party game, and honestly, most of the people in gatherings don't know these songs.

oasis is good and all that, but what about some more chick-stuff like veruca salt or the cardigans, cranberries and garbage? some more hole even.

oh. this is all because my girlfriend and i was playing world tour and she couldn't sing a single note of blackened.

I think they are the most unknown mega talented band (or at least Zakk himself is) in music

(everyone has heard of Ozzy...but probably 80%+ of those people have no idea who Zakk is....nevermind that he writes all his stuff! )

Right on ya! Black Label Society is great. Zakk is one of the most underrated, unacknowledged guitarists of modern times. Course he joins some good company in the ranks of Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Joe Satriani, Nuno Bettancourt (Extreme), Yngwie Malmsteen (his KISS days were no indication of his talent...listen to him rip up some Classical on solo projects) and "Dimebag" Darrell (Pantera, saw him live and he could hang with the best) only to name a few overlooked axe-grinders.

That said I am not holdin my breath (tho I would if I thought it would help) for DLC from any of these guys, especially not BLS or Pantera. I would love it but don't think it is in the cards.

By the way, if I had a nickel for every "official" statement leaking DLC info months in advance that turned out to be bogus...well I would have quite a pile of nickels. So I would not get to excited about the supposedly "official" statement about March DLC. Some of the content and even the spelling makes it a bit hokey even if you overlook the wierdness of "March but not Feb." release announcement.

    Rock on!

With most types of games I would agree, but for Rock Band I think that is wrong. In my own personal experience, I have seen several females that would never pick up another video game on Xbox or PS play Rock Band for hours, and not just vocals. My wife, her best friend and even my mother who is "around 60" (can't tell real age cause somehow she would know )
seem to love the game. I think that this represents a real untapped market for HMX to bring into the fold. So, I do support bringing more "chick" bands into DLC with the other stuff.
