Just registered on here and have already sent a letter to both Cake and their manager in regards to getting some songs on RB.

Not only do I want songs of theirs to enjoy playing, but it would get my fiance to play as well. In her own words: "If they release some Cake on there, I will play."

Cake's songs are those type that you never really get tired of. You could listen to the same CD over and over on a cross-state drive and still sing every song the whole way. And they never try to re-invent themselves like many other bands do.

The top 3 songs I would like to see are:

The Distance
Short Skirt/Long Jacket
Arco Arena (even though it has no vocals - AWESOME intrumental)

Others:

Shadow Stabbing - A fun song all around
Comfort Eagle - Has a very pronounced bass riff. May be repetitive in that aspect though. Excellent lyrical properties. (Fan made flash video)
Sheep Go To Heaven - You already covered it.

I would vote for "Sheep Go to Heaven" although "Short Skirt/Long Jacket" has a brilliant music video (if you can call it that).

I wasn't that familiar with Cake (the two songs I mentioned are the only ones I knew) but this impressive thread makes me want to be one!
