Indeed. Showroom of Compassion is slated for a 1.11.11 release. On top of the new single, "Sick of You," their music page features 3-minute clips of five more songs from the album. I have listened to them extensively and am already quite in love with the upcoming album.

And if you go to the pre-order page, you can hear 30-second clips of all 11 tracks. These reveal less but still give a good taste.

I'm thinking of redoing this thread. With the new Rock Band 3 features (piano, harmonies, etc.), CAKE's entire catalog deserves a second look. And with the new album on its way, there will be many more songs to choose from.

Anyway, I created a single-choice (that's the only option) poll that includes every CAKE song. Because it's single-choice, I gave the option to pick whole albums, which helped split up the track listing. Having this poll will make it easier for me not to get behind in updating the first post with your votes. Check it out and let me know what you think. Also, let me know if creating an entire new thread is a good idea or if I should just re-work this main post.

New album comes out on the 11th. The 11th is a DLC day. Cake's new album is very good and holywowthoseRockBand3features.

at this point (and for quite a while) the ball has been in CAKE's court. I wonder/hope that with RBN, keys/pro mode/harmonies, and now HMX's severance with viacom that CAKE could possibly reconsider. if both parties were willing to try to etch out a deal again, I think CAKE would find that things have changed with HMX, presumably for the better...
