Yeah, I whole heartedly support this thread. Cake has the perfect mix for Rock band. I think that the Distance would be the best for the game, but any of the songs in your Green section would be fun.

Good stuff. I will never see Comfort Eagle the same way again ever since some of my high school friends made an Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time movie. They made Comfort Eagle the theme song for the happy mask salesman.

Haha, my "Green section" isn't even complete yet, either (but I'm glad you agree with it so far)! I have yet to rank anything from Comfort Eagle (or Pressure Chief, but... )!

The problem is that the two posts that hold the breakdowns are both maxed at their 10,000 character limit. So I'm trying to figure out the best way to merge my breakdown list with the list determined by your votes. I mean, how would I sort them? By my percentage or by the number of votes? I knew I should have reserved a 6th post for this thread.

So I'm trying to figure out the best way to merge my breakdown list with the list determined by your votes. I mean, how would I sort them? By my percentage or by the number of votes? What you can do is put some of the lower ranked songs in a later position, or another thread, with a link to them in the main thread. ONly keep songs that rate above 90% in the first few posts. Alternatively, you could remove the songs that rate as DO NOT include to the later area, and use all of the first posts for the good stuff.

As a note, I'll also vote for Never there. I disagree with your rating that one only 99%, as I find it superior to I Will Survive and Sheep Go to Heaven.

I was just listening to The Distance, and realized how great it would be, and even more plausible than my usual "OMG this should be in Rock Band" moments.

Great ideas, thanks! I swapped 'CAKE Songs That DON'T Belong...' with 'CAKE Songs That YOU Want...' Also, I used tinyurl.com shorten the links to the MP3s. There is still plenty more that needs to be changed, though. I'll get on it soon.

heck yes! CAKE is indeed one of my favorite bands and their songs would be great fun in rock band. I've been thinking of songs I want in the game and the distance is definitely #1.
