Jesus, you're speaking as if the company revolves around you. I highly doubt one kid [who thinks the Beatles suck, no less] that's having a hissy fit over lack of info three MONTHS before release is going to have much effect on them putting out info. Stop being such a brat. GH is releasing all their info because they're afraid of RB and people are already aware of the series. RB is not as well known. If they release a lot of info closer to the games release date, it gets the media swirling and people are aware of the game coming out a lot closer to the day, instead of hearing about it now/forgetting about it when theres nothing left to tell us about in 2 and a half months.

no the world does not revolve around me. but a product should revolve around its fans. RB would be more known with a little selective advertising, short clips making people go "hmmm im gonna go to www.rockband.com for more info". And with 3 months to go on a game, you usually have a demo out on Live Marketplace (though with RB the demo would be limited), and a very gd idea of whats on it. We know... very little other than the "Welcome to the Jungle" video which then got canned, only on youtube these days, and E3, With Peter Moore and Gamespot.

im sure there's plenty of info they can tell us. so a bit more would be nice. And come on, you start on me every single time I swear ur just waiting for me to say something you disagree with and u to lay into me.

its u know some waits are unbearable. Like Halo 3... we got Halo 3 Beta (though that turned out a little less gd that i wanted admittidly) cos like i was desperate for stuff. This is just... well are we just getting 15 songs? Who has a clue.

Guys, knock it off. I know hes getting personal, i dont agree with it. But this is usually a friendly place for people to be, and follow the basic principals of life, sex, drugs and rock and roll.

I make no secret, im also getting a tiny bit impatient. But lets agree to disagree on this please? Some can wait, others cant. Lets keep it like that.

we are the customers. they are the makers. the customer is always right. basic marketing principal here. it is OUR attention the maker wants. so a few more songs would make me smile my backside off for a month, until then id want 2 more or something etc. then, near release we'd know all, which is at least 40 songs. so 2 songs a month isnt much to ask for.

but i do commend that HMX are listening, that we have a dev here in the forum, caring bout what is said. Its a gd thing. Now... a few more songs when ur ready my gd man :P

Harmonix has historically had issues with info leaks. Maybe they want to make sure they have everything in place, everything perfect before they raise our hopes just to kill them accidentally a couple months later. Why did welcome to the jungle get canned? We don't know, but thats a perfect example of why info leaks early can be bad. Raising peoples hopes only to have to kill them later on. If the vid hadn't leaked, nobody would have known, and nobodys hopes for the song would have been crushed.

It's not my fault you're so ignorant half the time. Ask anybody else I lay into, I don't pick and choose people, I disagree with statements and I let it be known. You just happen to be a child for a good chunk of the time youre posting, so you get an earful.

The waits may be unbearable, but you've been insistent for two days and several posts that YOU WANT MORE INFO. And they keep saying, NOT YET. If you keep asking your mommy and daddy for something they say no to, what tends to happen? You get yelled at. Don't act like you don't understand why I and others are reacting, you're being a jerk, it's deserved and that's all I'm going to say. Again, stop being such a brat and wait it out, everybody KNOWS you want more info, but obviously trying to demean the developers isn't working, so stop being so vocal about it.

The customer is always right? This isn't McDonalds. This is us watching a game being developed. If there were no forums, no internet.. We would be sitting around waiting for magazines to come out with more info like I used to back in the day. This has nothing to do with your naive views on marketing, and that's not a basic marketing principle regardless of whether or not you think it is. We are privileged to have this website, and you're acting like were ENTITLED. WAIT AND SEE.

i like what HMX are doing. But it is ridiculous the amount of time. It is a product. We need more info. End of. Plus, I dont "ask my mummy and daddy" i "get a job from people in the neibourhood then spend it picking between whether i want GH3 or RB since they're expensive". And guess what - I am a child. This forum isnt for over 18s, so expect children, because children are a major part of the RB demographc. And so what if im childish, I have the excuse of being a child, but you need to stop argueing childishly back, cos ur making urself as bad as me. It's not rediculous. They've hooked you so far, have they not? They're gunna run out of updates over at Neversoft, and over here, they'll be streaming more updates. All we know, as Sean stated, when the game is set to release, you'll have all the information you need to make your decision.

so HMXSean where do you stand on RB having songs taken by GH3, and is there a possibility it could work both ways.

we've seen threads on this, but i didnt see u comment. I do apologise if u did, but I just wanted to know ur opinion, if you may confide it of course, i dont know the legal implications of what you can and cant tell us.
