I think it got debunked when we saw Stairway to Heaven.

Because, the GH Series, unlike the Rock Band series, has already said "NO STAIRWAY"

Forgive the fanboy comment, but regardless of this is BS or not [which it obviously is], I can safely say I won't touch a future GH so long as my Rock Band remains intacts and the DLC keeps'a'comin'.

None of the GH games have multiple songs by the same band in the Main Setlist.

Exactly what I think. There will not be 3 Aerosmith songs in GHIV, and if there is somehow it would be through DLC. There's no WAY that they put more than one song from one band in the game originally.

FWIW, Joystiq didn't source anyone and also did not claim the information came from any insider. With that knowledge I'd have to say that the songs are a wishlist, nothing more.

Trust me, if they had even the slightest bit of inside news about these kinds of tracks, it would be posted all over the internet by now.

won't believe it til they start telling the songs. by the way don't you think that they would come out with a big big name rockband song like pantera, or metallica, pink floyd, or other band thats big. not come out with a song thats low key. don't like the fact that they are wanting to go more international now. nothing wrong with that cause i'm german, but most of the rock or metal is american or english. they need to move up on the dlc's. i think it's pathetic they come out with 1 or 3 songs every 2 months. need to move up to rockband level.
