    Most Worthless (U.S.) Holiday?

    I didn't put "Give girls presents day" because it would be too easy to target

    I say New Years.

    What about Columbus day? That would be my least favorite I think, definately a pointless holiday.

    I think the most useless holiday is a set of holidays

    We have Preidents Day, where we honor the preisdents...In February

    Then Lincoln Memorial Day... In February

    then Washington Memorial Day... In February.

    What's the point of having a Presidents Day if all of them have their own anyway? Just another excuse for the bank to be closed...

    Hahaha. I work for a corporate credit union. Every one of these days we have off of work. It's great; at least once a month I get a weekday off.

    I gotta go with Columbus day, which didn't make your list. Nobody takes this one off besides Federal workers. Plus its a little insulting to Native Americans.

    I don't really understand why we need a Veterans and a Memorial day.

    KillAutumn, President's day was made to replace Lincoln and Washington days and turn 2 holidays into a single holiday. You're not supposed to celebrate all 3. I believe this was done when Martin Luther King day became a federal holiday - they added one and so they had to subtract one.
