Is Led Zeppelin over hyped?

Last I heard, 20 million people signed up to get a chance at those tickets. And that is just the last 24 hours or so.

Hopefully, as it is a benifet to raise money, that it will be pay-per-veiwed for the rest of us.

Led Zeppelin is one of those bands you can just re-discover over and over again. Listen to their music non-stop for a while, then take a break, then listen to it again and remember just how SWEET some of those riffs and hooks really are. Led Zeppelin's awesomeness is just undeniable. And if you think they're overhyped, I'm sure you are the same type of person that just buys "Greatest Hits" albums.

For the love of god NO. They are my desert Island band. If I could just bring the "Complete Studio Recordings" box, I'd be set for life. Zeppelin had it all, the most beautiful ballads, the hardest rock, smoking, steaming blues, even a little "Hot Dog" for fun.
