sounds good to me. I can play drums on meduim and guiatar/bass on hard/expert. I jam my RB loud as hell and drum alot and no one complains to me

If I'm reading that right are you actually admitting on the Rock Band forum that you are letting your brother and sister pirate the Rock Band DLCs for their PS3s?

No he isn't.. The PSN store license agreement allows you to download nearly all purchansed items on up to 5 different PS3s.. The content owner must be a user on each PS3..

Redownloading the song to get this patch should not count twords the 5 PS3 limit as it knows you already installed it on that specific machine..

I'm 99% sure it will not count twords the 5 limit, but if someone knows better.. I'm all ears..

Anyway, I think this is very smart for Sony.. I personnally would not buy very many of these songs without this.. Since I now have a buddy that also plays RB, I'm more willing to share the cost on these songs; I've even ended up spending a little more then I originally would have, but I have twice as much to show for it.

Are all the fixed versions up on the Playstation Network now? I just re-downloaded all of them, and only Brass in Pocket is showing up in my genre list. The songs from the Police Pack are still missing, and Limelight still has it's vocals when the track is turned all the way down... o_O?

Kain, Same here. Brass is fixed but Police Pack 1 still didn't make any of the 3 songs show up.

It's Sony's license agreement.. You do know what a license agreement is???? Kind of hard to be illegal when the license agreement tells you it's legal.. Do a little research instead of flaming.. You will see that Sony's reps themselves promoted it pretty hard during early interviews about PSN.. (Although as of late, they seem to even be removing this info from the downloads info.. You only see this in the lincense agreement now.. I hope they are not starting to have a change of mind and stop..) It's one of the reasons I went PS3 and trying to convince more family and friends to get one also.. The only title that limits this so far that I know of is WarHawk.. WarHawk's license agreement states that that you must wait 24hours between playing it on different consoles. Amazing how people are so quick to judge without any knowledge of the subject.. I think it's called ignorance? Do you really think Sony would let people talk about this in their own forum if it wasn't legal?


Anyway, I pretty much have bought only song packs which makes the individual songs not show up in my download list.. In addition, you can not see the pack description anymore in the download list.. Sigh... So, I'm having a tough time remembering which packs these songs were in? Anyone remember which pack the individual songs were in? This may be obvious to others out there, so this question is now showing my ignorance.. I would still appreciate a helping hand.. I really do not want to download ALL my songs just to update these few.. I also hope this wasn't overlooked by Harmonix and only the individual downloads were updated and the packs still have the old one..

Doooh.. Yep, knew I was showing my ignorance.. I'm only effected with the police pack. I love RB and music, but i'm the type that could care less who the artist is.. So it didn't click the first three songs WAS the Police pack.. The stupid dates should have clued me in ya think? I'm sure that makes some people's hair stand on end.. Sorry.. :P I didn't even have the last two songs, so not sure if they are in a pack or not. My bad.. Sorry.

I can confirm that the Police pack is still messed up.. Didn't fix anything here. Sigh..... I really hope they don't force us to delete the game data to force the updates to work.. I really do not want to have to re-download everything.

hmm I didn't even notice anything was wrong with the songs. Maybe fixing the HUGE load time at the beginning of Rock Band when you have all the songs downloaded. And plus when you have guitar as Player 1 (Live Gamer tag) you have to wait the time again if you want to use another instrument. There has to be a better way.

the better way is to play it on the PS3...no long wait times.....lol...but seriously i dont think im gonna bother redownloading the songs.....i dont even sort by genre when selecting songs so its no big deal to me....so i guess the fix is dont bother sorting by genre....its no skin off my nose

you, sir, don't know what piracy is. If I've been licensed to load a song onto 5 different media then I am entirely entitled to do that. So if the PSN is set up so as to allow people to share their music across 5 different machines then that's no more piracy than watching music videos on mtv is
