Strangely, "Reptilia" was the first song I heard from The Strokes, knowing it was The Strokes. I heard "Last Nite" a few times before, but I did not know it was by The Strokes at the time. From there, I just started listening to them more and more, and now I have all their CD's.

They should add their 2009 album as a DLC pack when its released.

I don't disagree. "Reptilia" is a pretty boring and repetitive song, and that makes me wonder why that made it into the game over some of their more interesting stuff that would be better to play. Now, most people's only exposure to The Strokes is that song, and they probably figure everything is like that, when it isn't.

People are having the same response to "PDA" by Interpol. A questionable choice of song by a great band that is going to probably get the same unfair label of "boring" by others. In some senses, it is too bad when they pick a repetitive song by a great band and ruin the chance of other better stuff from the same band.

I have agree, HMX makes some strange song choices.

We need some more Strokes by far, but I'm noticing a deficiency on the love for Razorblade here!
Razorblade is just so perfect for Rock Band, as the poppy, upbeat, depressing-lyriced-but-happily-sung, love song!

I feel bad I haven't posted in here more.

I definitely think we should get some stuff from Is This It? eventually~ since we haven't seen any songs from that album yet in Rock Band. I wouldn't even mind a pack of songs from the album~ Maybe:
-The Modern Age
-Soma
-Someday
-Alone, Together
-Last Night
-When It Started
-Trying Your Luck
-Take It Or Leave It

It's really such a great album that deserves a full release~ and The Strokes deserve at least a few more songs in the game as DLC. Maybe we can get some stuff from their new album when that comes out next year too~

I'm still all for the Strokes, I'm even for Albert Hammond, Jr DLC (101 has me enchanted.) I'm really sad that of all the modern music, HMX seems to shun the RB1 disk bands (Killers, Hole, Ok Go, Jet, even Radiohead only had 1 song.) They're also being rejected from GH which really makes me wonder why? Did all of them just feel the urge to neglect rhythm games, with fans wanting them more then bigger bands (Not going to lie, I want Strokes more then No Doubt, RHCP, Foo, or Motley Crue)

For the Strokes, they have a large selection of songs that would work for RB (even if they decide to switch the guitars like in Reptilia.) The lyrics to Room On Fire are fantastic, really deserves album DLC for that alone (also is considered the cream of the crop of it's time). New York City Cops and Hawaii are my two favorite songs that many Strokes fans could relate to for great song choices that aren't the popular "Last Nite" "Heart In A Cage" or "Juicebox"

OMG every Strokes song should be up for download asap!....except maybe Hawaii Aloha. And even then it's a ok song, just not as good as all the others is all....
