The in-game music store is exactly what I was looking for. I mean, you guys couldn't have gotten it any better if you plucked it straight out of my mind.

I'm not really huge on rock music (at least, I wasn't until I started playing this game), so going into the PlayStation store and just seeing titles of songs and names of bands was pretty useless to me. But, now that I can go to the store without even leaving the game and preview the tracks, I'm going to be downloading a lot. You guys have introduced me to a lot of great music.

This game is just incredible. I thought I'd regret forking over 180 bucks for a video game, but no chance. This game gets more play than the last 4 games I bought combined. And with the DLC, it just never gets old.

Great to hear that you like the game so much! So why'd you buy the game when you're not big into rock, out of curiousity? Did you like the idea of playing with all of the instruments?

I really like the new store too. Honestly it's one of those things that's simultaneously good yet evil for me. Sometimes when you know you like a song but aren't willing to buy the DLC at a particular time (lack of money or whatever other reason) you could ignore it easier before. Now with the store available in-game with the previews there to remind you that you like a song, it can be harder to resist.

I agree with you on the store. It's just so very, very pretty. I don't know how to explain my fascination with it, honestly.

And I know how you feel. Not even other games like CoD4 or DMC4 (when it came out) can keep me from playing Rock Band. It's this addiction I have that I'm sure others have as well.

I resisted it for months, just because I didn't think I'd like it. First a girl I know was telling me about Guitar Hero, and she was just raving about it. But, I wasn't convinced. Then a freind of mine played it, and liked it so much he bought it for the xbox. I tried it. I like it. I figured, if GH is good, Rock Band has to be a whole 'nother level. And I was right. Now, my friends who have GH spend all their time at my house.

Too bad a stand-alone guitar hasn't come out yet. I need one more.
