Yeah, you're right. I never liked it though when we got a live and studio version of a song, like you just mentioned, as well as the Paul McCartney tracks.
It would be cool if we got the rest of Electric Ladyland tho.

I hate to bump this thread back up to its old ages, but I made sure to check if there were any popular JHE support threads still relatively intact.
I'm here to merely encourage Harmonix on creating more renditions of Hendrix songs into RB3. We can all agree the percussion talent is incredible with Mitch Mitchell, Redding formed some awesome bass grooves, and Jimi is... Well, he's Jimi. 'Nuff said.
All I'm trying to say is, it would be nice to see more of Electric Ladyland and Are You Experienced through DLC packs.
I wish HMX had released all three JHE albums in full. Many people, including myself, accidentally assumed we would get all the full albums since the article originally mentioning the DLC was vague.

I'm hoping Electric Ladyland is finished off someday. I had the pipe dream of it all having pro upgrades, too. Still so glad we got All Along the Watchtower. My current most wanted songs from it are 1983, Little Miss Strange (such an under appreciated track), and Burning of the Midnight Lamp,
I actually love having both a live and studio version of a song. Nice to play the contrast.

Maybe HMX is just giving the Hendrix DLC a breather. Wasn't most (if not all of it) released in a period of less than a year? Maybe they've got more on the way (like the never-ending stream of Foo Fighters DLC, which I also love).
*Edit- All the Hendrix was released over a two year period. Still that's a lot of songs from (technically) one artist.

That's true. They probably are taking a break. I mean, we got two of his albums in 2010, and then an on-disc track, and a pack of him in late 2011, so we probably won't see him for a while, if we even get him again.
