"The Angel and the Gambler" gets a little light on the guitar and heavy on the keyboard (though so does "Won't Get Fooled Again"), "The Educated Fool" and "Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger" are a tad overlong (with the latter featuring some very awkward vocals), and "Como Estais Amigos" (though it is the best power ballad ever) is a little simple on every instrument. With that said, I'd like to see both albums as DLC.
Oh, I guess I just looked at your post wrong. Nonetheless, I want some Blaze. I don't understand all of the hate he gets. Hell, why don't we just get a bunch of '90s Maiden? All four albums are amazing and people say such bad things about them for some reason. My choices for a '90s pack would, no matter how poorly they would translate, be:

-"Holy Smoke" (No Prayer for the Dying)
-"Be Quick or be Dead" (Fear of the Dark)
-"Fear of the Dark" (Fear of the Dark)
-"The Sign of the Cross" (The X Factor)
-"The Angel and the Gambler" (Virtual XI)
    -"The Clansman" (Virtual XI)

This pack would be amazingly ridiculous.

Hmm, I like your tastes. How about:

"Run Silent Run Deep" - No Prayer for the Dying
"The Fugitive" - Fear of the Dark
"Fear of the Dark" - Fear of the Dark
"Man On the Edge" - The X Factor
"Blood On the World's Hands" - The X Factor
"The Clansman" - Rock In Rio (yeah, not technically 90's, but this surpasses the already perfect Blaze version in every regard)

I'd love that. I was actually just listening to "The Fugitive" when you posted that.

How about a six-pack for each decade? This would be like the 18 Grateful Dead songs being released. My choices would be:

    '80s:
    -"Iron Maiden" (Iron Maiden)
    -"Another Life" (Killers)
-"Hallowed Be Thy Name" (The Number of the Beast)
-"To Tame a Land" (Piece of Mind)
-"Rime of the Ancient Mariner" (Powerslave)
-"Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" (Seventh Son of a Seventh Son)

    '90s:
-"Holy Smoke" (No Prayer for the Dying)
-"Be Quick or be Dead" (Fear of the Dark)
-"Fear of the Dark" (Fear of the Dark)
-"The Sign of the Cross" (The X Factor)
-"The Angel and the Gambler" (Virtual XI)
    -"The Clansman" (Virtual XI)

    '00s:
-"Out of the Silent Planet" (Brave New World)
-"Dream of Mirrors" (Brave New World)
    -"Paschendale" (Dance of Death)
-"Dance of Death" (Dance of Death)
-"These Colours Don't Run" (A Matter of Life and Death)
-"For the Greater Good of God" (A Matter of Life and Death)

Hell, just give me one of these songs and I'll go crazy! The only song that has not impressed me a bunch by Maiden is "More Tea Vicar", but I don't think it was supposed to be serious, seeing how Bruce raps in it. It's good for a laugh, though.

Very good list. Minor adjustments though:
-"Revelations" for "To Tame a Land". Of all Maiden's slow songs, "Revelations" is the best by far, and we need a Maiden song that isn't full throttle 100% of the time.
-"The Fugitive" for "Be Quick or Be Dead". The latter would be impossible to chart vocals for. It would be fun otherwise. The former has a great chorus.
-"The Fallen Angel" for "Dream of Mirrors". This is simply my personal preference. The former has a great noodly guitar part at the chorus. Overall I just feel that it would be more fun to play. Again, that's just personal preference.
-"Out of the Shadows" for "For the Greater Good of God". The former fulfills the same sort of role as "Revelations", and even more importantly, the outro of the latter song has a very strong pro-Christian verse, which could cause some HUGE backlash from Rock Band's non-Christian audience.
-"Murders in the Rue Morgue" for "Another Life". Another personal preference thing. "Murders" is my favorite Maiden song.

And that would make the perfect Maiden 18-pack.

    3) Flight of Icarus
    4) Running Free
    5) These Colours Don't Run
    6) The Evil That Men Do
yeah that + rime of the ancient mariner to be the longest song that kicks the most ass.

Hell, why don't they just push to get Maiden's whole catalog? I would pay $200 to play every song they've made over the years.

I would die of happiness for any large Iron Maiden dlc to come out...
As long as it includes Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Dance of Death and Phanton of the Opera, we're all good.

When will a good game put Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner in, it would be the ultimate test.
