Default New Hardware!!!

I just got my replacement pads in today, and I noticed the feet were alot larger than the old ones. After playing through a few songs, they were made to stop the drums from sliding away from the user.

THANK YOUUUUU!!!!! MY GOD!!!!! This was my biggest complaint about the drums. On a song like Thrasher, the set would literally move so far away I had to pull it closer to me every break I had or drum solo. It was so annoying and even the little bit of moving made the game so much harder to play on other songs. It looks liek the new feet prevent that. Thank the lord.

Now everyone go "break" your drum heads so you can enjoy this.

I have the QM model and I play on carpet. I never had any problems with the drums moving away from me. Might just be the carpet but I think they call it Berber. It's not that really thick stuff.

I suffer from carpet creep too. Sounds unpleasant, doesn't it! I've been waiting for someone (probably Logitech) to produce third party drums, but so far no sign. I'm amazed at the lack of Third Party add-ons for RB actually. If ever a game cried out for it, it's this one!

it's ghetto, but it works REALLY well. I tether my drums to my drum throne legs. No more creeping and they stay EXACTLY where I like them

Wow, that sounds like a really good idea.... I've been using 2 doorstops to try and keep it from moving but it doesn't really work that well. I think I'm gonna try doing this

Carpet creep, heh. That's a funny one. My set slid on hardwood.
