The system is Xbox 360. You can bring your equipment. They have RB1 + RB2. I was told screen would be 61" plasma. They have RB1 wired drums for now.
I plan on bringing my system (450+ songs currently), stage kit, Les Paul wireless and a RB2 wireless strat if I can pick one up tomorrow. Probably bring drum throne and mic stand too. Don't know about ION set yet, or Roland pedal + kickbox setup. That is a lot to bring.
Spoke with manager tonight and he is planning on this to be an regular thing each Wednesday and sounds like he is willing to do what needs to be done to make this work well.

We need to organize several people from each of the 50 states and setup live places to play rock band, bars, the middle of the street hell who cares where as long as we can all at least have one of the places close to home
Maybe have a couple of the really good bands maybe visit other locales from time to time or something like that.
I would love to see much more RB live places than there appear to be. Let's face it just about anyone can come and play the game, you could set no fail for those that aren't very good. There's a lot of options.
Hell Marshall University is like ten minutes from my house so I know you could get some of the college crowd in on it around here, mainly because most of those really hit the kareoke scene heavy and this would let more friends in on it.
What do you guys think? Some kind of community collaborative effort to help get Rock Band out there in live areas and possibly make kareoke seem less interesting...![]()

I believe I am going to try and organize a straight up middle of the street thing with rock band sometime this summer. I have done it with a real band and the turn out was about 150 people. That was one of the coolest things I have ever been a part of. Did it two years in a row, now that the band is gone, why not do it with rock band and a bunch of people just walking up and playing whatever they like for a song or two. Actually letting the crowd be a part of the funNow that would be a cool concept.

that might be a very cool concept. I would actually like to see it. sounds fun, and if you were here in Austin, I would offer my services to help set it up. As well as advertise during our Rock Band Nights on Tuesdays.
Maybe I should look into that, I just can not afford any more wild expenses at the moment. I am not even really able to keep up with the DLC anymore, replace my broken cymbal for my kit, re-string my guitar, or anything else.... Ugh...
