I just listented to Make Believe yesterday, and I remembered how much I actually liked it. The only weak spot was "My Best Friend." Sure, "Beverly Hills" may be their weakest single, but other tracks on the album make up for it. "This is Such a Pity" and "The Damage in Your Heart" are among some of my favorite Weezer songs.

It still may not be their best, but I still dig it.

    For the record:

    1. Maladroit
    2. Pinkerton
    3. Green
    4. Blue
    5. Make Believe
    6. Raditude
    7. Red

Haven't heard Hurley yet, but I hear it's pretty good. I don't even hate Red, I just think it's their weakest.

I would prefer "Pork and Beens" from the Red album and some songs from their new album, Hurley, but otherwise I'm content with most of the DLC available.

I think Rock Band did a good job in providing most of Weezer's good (popular) songs.

You know "Pork and Beans" is available via DLC already, right? Not the most challenging song either, but enjoyable.

You put Red bellow Raditude? ANYTHING is better than Raditude.

I'm more concerned about Green above Blue.

OK I'm a little confused. Was it my preference for Blue above Green or just sarcasm? (It's a little hard to figure out sarcastic tone on the internet)

Yeah, text is lousy for sarcasm. It was in reference to preferring the Green album over Blue. I thought the preference of the first two albums over Green was pretty much universal, guess not.

The reason I chose Green (narrowly) over Blue is that the former distilled and sharpened what I loved about the latter in the first place. No filler, so the songs didn't overstay their welcomes like a certain overrated closing song did. I know the bylaws of Weezer fandom requires unquestioned allegiance to the first two albums, but I just can't get behind that. Maladroit 4EVR.

Also, regarding Raditude over Red: there were a lot of moments on Red that were just kinda boring. Raditude, on the other hand, was just a big dumb pop record that didn't pretend to be anything else. There's a lot of energy in those songs, and that's really what Red lacked.

One more thing, after listening to Hurley, I think I'd put it at number 5 right behind Blue. "Trainwrecks" is teriffic.
