I refuse to let this thread die and I'm very disappointed its been a month since anyones posted in it while the Muse (another incredible band btw) thread stays near the top every day.

I agree, Tool is the best next band to add to RB. If I could only choose one album it might be Lateralus but I'd long certain songs from all the albums.

Yeah, but since Rock Band is owned my MTV, doubt Tool would ever sell tehir music to them. Guitar Hero was far but MTV would just destroy them.

I want Tool bad. GH WT didn't cut it since I don't care for the drum charting, esp. w/ RB drums. I'd love an album, 3 pak, best of.... whatever Tool I can get.

I have posted this idea a couple times before and i think that it is the best chance we have of seeing Tool in RB. It would be the most convenient way to incorporate new venues and would satisfy the bands need for uniqueness. As seen in GH, Tool requires a close interaction with the developers to license their music, and their own game/track pack would be the best way to do this.

Honestly, I'd pay a good $30+ for a seperate disc with Tool songs on it.. even if it only had 10 songs.

I agree. I almost dropped Rockband completely when I found out that Guitar Hero WT had TOOL on it. It is disappointing because Rockband a far superior game. I'm not sure why TOOL would lend there songs to Guitar Hero WT and not Rockband, which has a far more fan base. Aren't they both owned by Harmonix?
