Hello I'm new to the site but have been playing RB/RB2 since day one, but I have one problem with the game and that's the reason why I'm posting in this topic.

My problem is the complete lack of songs from Tool, like many others I would do anything to see I few Tool songs come to RB and if I had to I would pay out the ass for them.

I would write out a list of Tool songs I would like to see in the game but being the Tool fan that I am I would be happy with ANY Tool songs.

So Harmonic if your reading these topics/reply's please try to bring us some Tool, we would all love you long time if you did.

Being a massive fan, I would of course suggest you start with Undertow (not their first album, but their first big success) and then listen to the rest of the albums in order, but if you're after just a couple of tasters, I'd recommend:

Intolerance - Undertow
Stinkfist - Aenima
Eulogy - Aenima
Parabola - Lateralus
Vicarious - 10,000 Days
The Pot - 10,000 Days

You hear that harmonix, if you want to get some tool, your gonna have to include some art from the band somehow.

Unfortunately, i can't see Harmonix doing this. They have always been pretty monotonous with their presentation of gameplay and our avatars/venues; whereas GH takes a more abstract and fantastic approach to their gameplay (such as the changing venues during encores and the outright silliness of some of their character animations and venue layouts). I don't think that Harmonix would work with Tool the same way GH did, it wouldn't go along with their direction.

GH looks like straight ass! Graphics are awful! RB could have done tool so much more justice. WHY DIDNT YOU GET OFF YOUR ASS HARMONIX AND BEAT GH TO THE PUNCH?!

They should make a new film clip type or something that incorporates the art and possibly replaces or removes the characters. In fact, they should do that not just for Tool but a whole bunch of stuff in general. I reckon it'd be sweet to have abstract film clips instead of the band playing with trippy effects.

Tool is a band that is notoriously very protective of their music when it comes to licensing it out. But the fact that they did it for GH:WT gives me hope. I would love to play Tool on rock band, my only reservation would be that it would obviously be difficult to fully transalte the drums and percussion to just one kick and four pads. Seems to me you would need to at least add another kick pedal to the kit to be able to play most Tool songs on drums. Though the same could be said for the likes of Metallica and Megadeth but and you are still expected to play double bass drum parts with one kick.

I wont get GH:WT mainly because if one member of the band fails the whole band fails immediately. Thats pretty lame - alot of my friends have trouble with plastic guitars and need saving once ina while.
