I voted for them all. I would take anything they released since I haven't really heard a Deep Purple song I don't like.

Yeah HMX MUST release Machine Head for an album download... otherwise Woman From Tokyo, Hush, Pictures Of Home, Space Truckin', Smoke On The Water.
I don't care how many posts you have you're not a "Super Star" unless you've been with the forums since Dec 2007 or before!
Smoke on the Water FTW.

I'm hesitant to cast my vote. Don't want to give one song the lead, only to find that another one or two is better suited but had an unfamiliar title.
With that said, I was listening to some D.P. in the car the other night and thinking how great a couple would be for Rock Band!
Smoke on the Water & My Woman From Tokyo would be the obvious picks due to recognizability. They'd be crowd favorites at parties, but... maybe not the most challenging or fun for the experienced band.
Burn would be amazing.
I can only imagine the charting possibilities for drums & guitar. Definitely a solid & complex bassline, and the vocals would be lots of fun as well. Wonder if they'd chart Coverdale AND Hughes... ?
Child in Time would be epic as well, but in a different sort of way. It's one of those long songs, clocking over 10 minutes. Lots of sections where various instruments would be doing little to nothing at all, but they all have their time to shine. Soaring vocals and a GREAT guitar solo!
For any of these, I'm sure the organ/piano could be minimized as was done for Highway Star.
Others on the list have great potential, but these two stood out when I was cranking them in my car just recently.
More Deep Purple, please!

NVGA National Champs "Skanky Emu Militia" - Bass, Guitar, Vocals (backup)
All. The more DP the better.

i would download most of those, but i also want to cast a vote for "when a blind man cries"... it's a slow burner and may be a bit too chilling for a video game, but sometimes sacrifices have to be made...
