The Outlaws ~ There Goes Another Love Song (3:05)
The Outlaws ~ Cry No More (4:21)
Okay, first the obvious, then the not so obvious.
1) All of these songs are heavy/fun on all four aspects of Rock Band, although 2 (Technically 3, I'll get to that in a second) have extended solos (Freeborn Man and Ghost Riders In The Sky)...not as long as Green Grass And High Tides, though! I also thought that Waterhole is just way too much fun for Guitar/Bass/Drum to pass up, even though it's an instrumental, and thought it'd be fun to be combined with another song. Sort of like Foreplay/Long Time, I guess. It'd actually be shorter than that, though.
2) This is bias, becuase I LOVE this band, but hear me out! We haven't had too much Southern Rock except Skynyrd (Love Gimme Three Steps, by the way), and CCR is listed as Southern Rock, but Fortunate Son isn't really what I would call a Southern Rock staple (Still a great song, though!). So all I'm saying is, what better way to inject the DLC (At least sometime down the road) with some Southern Rock love than a little bit of the Tampa boys' music?
3) I've done some carousing and it seems a kind of popular consensus that certain songs are hated more than others, from what I've gathered that list more often than not contains Green Grass And High Tides. So, maybe I'm alone here, but I LOVE Southern Rock, and these guys in particular, and hopefully other people would get some enjoyment out of it, too!
If this was actually added, I would die a happy woman. I mean, technically I was a born in New York, but I was raised all my life in Florida, right next to Tampa. Hometown pride!
