Official Petition for Stoner Rock

First of all check the bands out on this website http://www.stonerrock.com/ they have an mp3 jukebox.
Second, I think that there are a lot of very talented bands out there that need to be on rock band. These include:

Clutch
Fu Manchu
Kyuss
Down (not really stoner rock, but still)
Corrosions of Conformity
Acid Bath (once again not stoner rock)
Monster Magnet

I want anyone who reads this to check out these bands, search them on youtube, google or whatever, just please listen to them and post on here so these bands can be on rock band. Any other bands you would like to add?

I agree with you. The only "stoner rock" group we have in the game is Queens of the Stone Age, who are about as mainstream as the genre gets; it would be nice to see some 'deeper cuts', so to speak.

I'd also like to see some sludge/doom metal put into the game. GH2 even had doom in the form of Megasus, so I'm hoping we will see some bands from this genre (like the mentioned Acid Bath) pretty soon. The confirmed Sabbath track "Supernaut" is a great start!

Stoner rock is pretty much the same as space rock, also known as desert rock and several other names i don't know. It's not really a genre but i consider it one.

That said, how about some stoner/doom metal? The Sword is the best band that is currently playing, in my opinion.
