I want:

Rush (are they already inducted? not sure) for their innovative progressive sound.
Buckethead for his amazing guitar skill and cold yet emotional songwriting.
And finally Pearl Jam for being one of the most original and emotionally connecting bands of the 1990s.

i hadn't heard the rock honors 08 announcement, i was waiting for it.

just the who? the who are very very deserving, but there should be more bands than just them. the police and zep are great choices, but this just doesn't seem like something led zeppelin would go to.
