Except I never heard of Porcupine Tree or Dredg, and I don't know enough Yes to list them, so I'd have to replace them with Rush and The Melvins. Also Tool always takes first place in my books.

maybe its just me... but when i think of Prog rock... i think of a few things:

1. Talent, talent, talented and talented musicians
2. odd time signatures
3. epic songs/albums

i just dont see Pink Floyd as progressive.... more of a "shroomy" rock XD

Did you just say that Pink Floyd musicians have no talent? You are allowed to hate them, but don't insult they're talent.

You can't really call Zeppelin, Boston, or Oyster Cult 'prog', all good bands, but none are actually considered prog by anyone as far as I know.

I can't say i listen to enough Prog to make list like this. Coheed and Cambria is pretty influenced by Prog,but mostly are hard rock,with a little industrial/electro/Math rock on their latest album.
