    Best Piano-Rock?

What are some of your favorite piano-driven bands?

    Ben Folds/Five
    Something Corporate
    Billy Joel

And if we're counting synth, then...

    Reggie and the Full Effect
    Devo
    Klaxons
    Motion City Soundtrack
    The Cars
The Cure (Depending on what era we're talking about)

Nowadays -- Keane. It is piano, but electric grand with sound effects. Still, not synth, not organ.

I also like the Irish singer/songwriter Duke Special.

Historically -- Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Fats Domino, Elton John, ELP, Dr. John.

Bill Payne's keyboards (mostly piano) were a big part of Little Feat's sound.

Queen had a couple of great piano rock songs (Don't Stop Me Now, Killer Queen etc) though I doubt they could be classified as such. Still get an honorable mention from me.

Jerry Lee Lewis was the first name to pop into my head.

A bit more modern: Tori Amos
