I would *LOVE* to see Miss Murder show up on DLC. I air drum to that song in my car all the time. It's an all around good energy song!
Other awesome A.F.I. songs:
Silver and Cold
Dancing Through Sunday
This Celluloid Dream
Love Like Winter

I'm with you on Dancing Through Sunday. That song is very high energy and has a rocking guitar lead.
But anything else this band has released after Art of Drowning is just....no...
Only the old stuff. New AFI is ass.
Not Miss Murder...or anything off of Decemberunderground...that was just so overplayed.
Dancing Through Sunday would be pretty sweet though. This Celluloid Dream would take forevvvvver to play.
Choke in this atmosphere

ugh... im so sick of hearing people hate on "new" afi.
id personally love to see sing the sorrow full album.
Decemberunderground was awesome. People don't like it's different then all the other AFI stuff, but that's what they do; they re-invent themselves every album. But I would havw to say no for Miss Murder, it was very overplayed and not one of their best songs. I would like a 6 pack with a little new and a little old:
Days of the Phoenix
Carcinogen Crush
The Missing Frame
The Leaving Song Pt. 2
Girl's Not Grey
God Called in Sick Today (Rock Band doesn't have any slow songs, so this would be unique)
1)There's not any old AFI in there, really. Though I guess All Hallows and Drowning kinda are. It's really bizarre for me to think of those albums as "old" though.
2)I dislike decemberunderground (and sing the sorrow) because they're terrible, not because they "reinvented" themselves. They've changed their sound a little several times, but it wasn't until sing the sorrow that they changed it to crap, and they've only gotten worse since.
3)I would have to say that Wanted: Dead or Alive as well as Moonage Daydream are pretty slow songs, not that God Called in Sick isn't possibly slower.
And despite my complaints, Days of the Pheonix, Leaving Song Pt. 2, Girls Not Grey, and God Called in Sick are all at least okay songs, and I would likely get them. But still, Dancing through Sunday > the rest of that album combined.
Well, I didn't put any of their even older stuff because it would be impossible to match Davey's vocals in that and the songs that I picked are for the most part mainstream so more people will be familiar with them and purchase them.![]()
And by the way, I can't stand people thatcomplain when band's change their sound or style. So please stop.
I was trying to make the point though that I'm not complaining about them changing their sound.
They changed their sound dramatically between Answer that and Stay Fashionable (their first full album) and Art of Drowning (their fifth full album), but I don't have any complaints about that because there's good work on both those albums.
I don't like there two more recent albums because I feel their work isn't up to the level of quality I've come to expect from A.F.I. It has little to do with their sound changing.
I would like to see any of these
Affliction
Total Immortal
The Leaving Song PartII
Girls Not Grey
