Thumbs up [Beta testers needed] Downloadable Content Review Site

As I'm sure everybody here knows, finding out what downloadable songs are worth your money can sometimes be a pain in the keister. So I've been working up a site that is essentially the IMDB for Rock Band songs.

Now, this site is still in early stages, and thus needs work. But what I want to know is what sort of features YOU want on the site, and if there are any bugs presently.

So if you're interested in trying it out, hit up RBDLC.com. Anything you want to see just post right here in this thread, and I'll get on it.

    Cheers!

    -Chris

EDIT: We're up to round 2, so once again lay in with the comments!

Hm, a rating system (Maybe 1-5 stars) for each of the instruments, or a rating system for the whole song (Maybe 1-5 stars) and then on the front page you could list the best "rated" songs.

I already registered, but here are my thoughts. First, it needs to be a little cleaned up, and you need a song database to immediatly go to. Also, the ratings are a little unclear. Lastly, I suggest you put up, first: the top 5 or so rated songs, second: the ratings for the weeks current songs.

I also know that this might be a little tough, as it would be a lot of work, but a short blurb for every song would be nice besides the reviews.

Good job. I'll put up some reviews later today.

(Also, advertising could generate a little income for ya)

agreed. the rating should be a bit more detailed and/or laid out cleaner, the sprint more bars in more places thing just looks a little odd.

also what was the last thing in the ratings? "gdvbb" I have to be honest I have no clue what the heck thats standing for....

The oddball column that makes no sense will eventually have a tooltip when I stop sucking at CSS. It's actually the official difficulty rating for each of the instruments (Guitar, Drums, Vocals, Bass, Band).

And thanks for the suggestions so far, I'll be implementing as much as possible tomorrow! (But not tonight, as I need to go celebrate my birthday)

Hmm. This is an amazing idea. When finished I think that it would be cool to have the list of songs, the difficulty on each instrument, and a list of reviews made for it. Reviews could have a rating out of five stars. Also, for the song, you could have the average review. If it becomes big enough, it might also be cool to "subscribe" to a reviewer whom you like so that you can check their review every week, similar to YouTube.

Just a few ideas that would be cool. It might also be nice to have a forum there. This way, people can also post written reviews if they want.

Edit: Ahh, I just checked the whole thing out. I see that you have the ratings, written reviews, and difficulty. One thing that could improve this would be pages for specific songs. This way, as I said above, you could check out the average rating. Also, it would probably be a good idea to have a drop-down menu for the song choices instead of just entering it in.
