    i say big fat yes to mastodon on rockband. some good picks i think might be...

    colony of birchmen
    cappillarian crest
    call of the mastodon
    island
    blood and thunder
    hearts alive(to earn the title of longest rock band song...13 minutes of epicness!)

    here are some that are hardcore for individual parts
    vocals:Hand of Stone
    Guitar:Aqua Dementia
    Bass:I Am Ahab
    Drums(definetly the older material for some really hard stuff)
    Where Strides the Behemoth

    Mastodon would be incredible on Rockband! That would be insanely awesome. I'd buy anything from them, but my top 3 picks:

    Colony of Birchmen
    March of the Fire Ants
    Blood and Thunder

    I tried to pick my favorite songs from three of their albums (with the exception of Lifesblood).
