I have a personal source. My classmate at the Chicago Sun sent me her copy of the release. Jamie Nicholes from Activision sent an email to my classmate. Also see my new thread about their instruments. It is not complete but, there will be photos in upcoming Game Informers, but this is going to be the list.

I have the press release for next week and here is the list of bands that are going to have songs in GH4. About 35 artists now, but it's only the beginning the perss release states that over 80 artists will likely be included.

Posts 107 - 109 are pretty funny on page 11.

Bolded artists are confirmed by Wikipedia sources. (I know it doesn't make sense, roll with it.)

There are going to be 85 bands with two songs a piece for most of them.

And the current owners of Jimi Hendrix's music are not happy about Spanish Castle Magic in GH1 and said that they wont license his music to anyone else because of this... and with that being said... Jimi being a Master..
