Can someone tell me the point of online bands? You don't get on the leaderboard or anything..I'm not tryin' to be a jerk I just want to know.

This is the reason - we can submit our scores here and see how we rank - at least against other bands submitting scores. And we can cross-reference them against the top scores on the RB leaderboards.

The point is to play songs and have fun. Basically, find a few friends by posting here on the boards for the type of player you're looking for (instrument, difficulty, DLC, etc.) and then play some quickplay with them. You'll have a far better experience than you will with random players that the game connects you with.

The main reason people post in this part of the forums is to (1) find friends who play on the same difficulty level, i.e. experts wanting to play with other experts, and (2) to find people with DLC, because it's unlikely with random players that you'll get to play of the DLC you have purchased.

Hi, i play guitar and bass, but i prefer guitar my normal percentage is 97-100% and i have 93% on green grass and high tides PSN: "Malle1991" and i have about 70 DLC and my rank on leaderboards is 122

i play Drums, Guitar and Bass. Drums - 93%+ except the really tricky songs, Guitar - 93%+ again not the really hard songs and Bass 95%+. My PSN id Is Iceman699 add me so we can jam. I currently have about 15 DLC songs and am willing to buy more depending on which ones are really good. Hope to jam with yall soon Peace.!

My recent achievements:
1. Took away your 1st place on Countdown to Insanity.
2. Got the 1st place scores on PS3 for Green Grass & High Tides and Dani California. GGHT is a funny one too, 160,001. It's like the game was nice and gave me 1 extra point. LOL
3. Got back into 2nd on ScoreHero and 4th place on PSN. I keep getting bumped down from time to time, but I kind of like it because the competition keeps me interested.

OK, just make sure you create a ScoreHero account and put your scores on there! The PS3 leaderboards suck.
