PS3 Expert Players Thread - Post here if you play anything on expert

Hey there. Just now played WGFA. Got 92%, 4.75 stars, 236k. I play expert drums. All the time, except for a few songs. Namely, Trasher and Blinded By Fear... anywho...I consider the song annoying if I get below 96%, and hard if I get below 93. As said before I got 92 on Won't Get Fooled Again. For my PSN, look at my siggy. I got 144 songs, don't know what that translates to in DLC.

Guitar: I usually get 98-100% on most songs. GG&HT my best is 98% with 531k, but its usually more like 96 or 97. I've gold starred every on-disc song except Run To the Hills (400 points away. grr...) and I have 145 songs total (not sure how many songs were on disc to begin with so you can do the math). I'm currently ranked 9th on PSN and 6th on ScoreHero.

I'm on all the time, add me if you're really good (if you're not I'll delete you, I don't want to be a jerk but I need the room in my friends list for ppl to get high scores with)

FYI - just did some score dueling on drums with my new pedal - I have to figure out why it's double hitting on me - but anyway the point of my post:

I did score duel with Jalaba23 - He beat me the first 3 songs (sadly - if my pedal was double hitting like left and right i would have done a lot better and probably beaten him).

I got sick of the double hits and went back to the broken pedal (lol) and we get Afterlife.

The last chorus I'm up about 60k points he quit.

We aren't even talking RANKED duels like on XBOX. Be warned if you play this guy.

ahh... i figured i would be mentioned as a quitter.

we just dl'd a bunch of the new material, and i'm not great at it yet, but that's never warranted as an excuse to leave.

my system said the other player (you) left, not me. in your defense, my wireless internet is through charter, and it's pretty sketchy.

but come on haha, it was the first 4 (not 3) songs I won on, 2 of them 100% without missing a beat.. and none of them really close.

if I'm up 4 songs to 0, how can I quit from behind?

I wondered why you quit while ahead - and it was definitely your internet, because i've had no connection issues.

At any rate - i need to get the calibration set on that Omega Pedal - the only reason you won by such wide margin's was because of the double hits.

You did hit the fills in Sick, Sick, Sick that I never hit - but I know AJFA and Peace of MInd would have been MUCH close if i wasn't losing OD to double bass hits lol. What else did we play other than afterlife? Damn my bad memory.

Edit: Actually, I was doing pretty craptacular on AJFA as well, worse than normal, new pedal excuse aside. We'll have to rematch after I get the pedal working 100%

No hard feelings - I just hate quitters - and really, I've been gaming online long enough that it's more normal to find quitters than people that actually stick it out

I feel you on the quitter thing.. I also hate that, which is mainly why I got onto this forum. You were killing me on Afterlife, but I apologize for it looking like I quit midway..

the other song was go with the flow, btw.

I am interested in your new pedal, is it a double? Mine broke long ago, but with butterknives and duct tape, (thanks to youtube haha), it's a freaking tank now.

Anyway, let me know when the pedal is calibrated correctly, you were def much better than anyone I've played before, so in no way am I trying to downplay your abilities.

well im looking for a band im not the greatest but im decent i dont get like 95 % on every song usually low 90s and havnt tried gght since i got better so i might be able to beat it, i have the metallica pack more than a feeling all the small things dirty little secret and simple man i'll probably buy more once i get my paycheck from work and or i get my social security benefits back since most my friends joined the army i dont really have to spend hundreds of dollars a month on liqour i would really like to be in an online band since all my band has joined the army.

I literally just remembered the last song lol. Yea - Go with the flow had those fills that I've never hit (nor practiced) lol.

No it's not a double - it's a mod of a real bass drum pedal with a switch on it basically - the problem is that the way it's setup now it has a little bounce, so unless I really stomp on it, it has the potential to bounce up too far and get off the switch (and since i'm still putting my foot down) go back down and register another kick.

So I literally, plugged it in and that was the first time using it was against you .

Yea, you are definitely best person I've ever played against - just means it'll be close matches
