    Progressive Rock DLC Request Thread

I was a bit hesitant about making this thread, but now it's clear to me that we need better representation as fans of our beloved music.

Request, Recommend, and most importantly discuss what progressive rock would go well in Rock Band. I'm not forgetting progressive metal or death metal, bring that to the table too. I want us to make a signifying thread that if Harmonix see, they can take imput from this thread and see what they can do for our wonderful sub genre.

I will keeping this thread constantly updated. I won't drop off for awhile without notice unless I indicate so long as we keep it alive.

The one rule that must stated is don't flame each other music tastes. I made this for the sole reason of having a clean purposeful thread for a genre that I feel need to be represented clearly on here. I once again beg you guys not to have a flame fest in this thread, I don't want it to get locked.

I will post our most wanted albums, song packs, and single songs on a the third and fourth post. I will be providing a last fm station that will hopefully work on the second post, I will be updating the radio as we find the songs we want on Rock Band more defined.

This will be the ending note, to all who didn't read, this a DLC request thread for Progressive Rock!

Edit:If you notice any errors, let me know.

Tool, Opeth, Jethro Tull, and Yes would all be good additions.

A lot of newer porcupine tree (Lightbulb Sun and newer) could work rather well, especially a few tracks off of deadwing are more rocky than proggy though. Specifically, I think Shallow, Halo, Blackest Eyes, and those sort of songs would be fine on rock band.

    So it's hard to say.

As far as Dream Theater goes, I think the entire images and words album would be awesome. (they could make "wait for sleep" an extended intro for "learning to live") Epic.

The most accessible Opeth album would be Damnation. #2 will probably be Ghost Reveries or Watershed. Too much death metal for your average joe with Blackwater Park, Still Life, or Deliverance. Though I would love them.

Jethro Tull, Genesis, Rush, King Crimson, Muse (some call them prog).

Dream Theater gets a bit of attention as prog as well.
    The PR transmissions will resume.
