Beethoven has a song over 2 hours long...
The CD is 43 minutes long, the vinyl is divided into two parts so it would fit (half on one side, half on the other).

The PR transmissions will resume.
"Absolutego" by Boris. It is one song and makes up the entire album and is one hour long. However, there is another version of the song that is 65 1/2 minutes long and the album has two tracks, the other being about 8 minutes long.
Supper's ready by genesis is around 22 minutes.
Not the longest, but thought I should throw it in there.
I always though Iron Butterfly had the record, but I guess not. I'll have to check some of this stuff out.
"Conquest is made of the ashes of one's enemies."
Xbox GT: Fatal T 71
I know it's not the longest rock song ever, but at 16:17, "Terrapin Station" by the Grateful Dead is an absolute masterpiece. Do yourself a favor, turn off all the lights and just listen to it alone all the way through and let your imagination soar. Narcotics could help.
Missing in action:
Enter Sandman
Battery
Paranoid
Let There Be Rock
Anyway You Want It
Give it Away
Spoonman
Bring them home HMX!
I know it's only a mere 8:28 but I've been dying to play "paradise by the dashboard light" since I first demoed guitar hero in best buy waay back in '05
Oh I wasn't even touching the Dead's live performances. As a 'Jam band' a lot of theur live performances, even of existing songs, would go on forever, much longer than the original recordings. The Other One is definitely an Epic, but I don't think I've heard the 40 minute version.
