Just wonderful. I enjoyed your Video very much. Specially since it is the only Boston-Song I really like .

Hoping for more Videos... or mp3s

Thanks for the kind words. My wife pokes fun at me when I sing. She has the better singing voice but doesn't want anything to do with this game. I'm teasing her because one of her favorite songs is coming out Tuesday for Downloads. Jimmy Buffet "Margarittaville"

I can't find out how to insert the video here. So here's the link for it:

Sorry for the bad quality, how do you guys record it?
Hi Tralcave. In your youtube clip, cut and paste the embed URL junk using the link button which looks like the world with the chain on it. If done properly the video link will appear clean like mine. As for recording I dont have anything fancy... just used a digital camcorder and converted the .MOV file to a MPEG4 for Youtube.

    About Capturing:

I use a USB-Capture device for my PC, which you can get veeery cheaply at ebay or online stores (it was 20 Euro for me, including a solid video -editing program - you might even get it cheaper in the US). Its about the same like a TV-Capture card, exept it doesn't have a TV-Tuner. It is just a dongle with video input plugs (chinch and SVHS - no HD capture).

Another way is recording your performance with a Hard-Disc Video Recorder, burning it on DVD or CD and converting that file with any freeware Video Editor (like Virtua Dub / Virtua Dub Mpeg, or Flask Mpeg) with your PC. Don't really know, but even the windows movie maker might help.

Ok, just for encouragement, I will make another shot - this time, it is a "worst of" video, in which you can see all my recorded failures... or at least some parts of it. I guess you will have a good laugh with it.

I added some notes to every scene, which most of you won't understand- they are in german, since the video was originally made for my german friends.
Anyway, you don't need to undestand them to laugh yourself a crack into your brain, when you hear how I desperately swim between the tunes, transpose too low or miss to read the words right. Just to make sure, I will add a translation of those notes below the video...

    Have fun !

Part 1: message In a bottle
    1) My gosh, that is high....2) oh no, that is it, gotta octavate 3) Oh no, that is too low, i'm just brabbling

    Part 2) Call Me
    1) Isn't really my pitch, huh... 2) oh well, and timing problems too 3) If I was only able to read...

    Part 3) Juke Box Hero
    1) Oh, that starts easy 2) Oh Geeezz

    Part 4) Paranoid
sometime, your voice will be f*** up

    As I wrote before, I use a USB-Capture device ... a really cheap one

    One like this:
    http://www.amazon.de/LogiLink-Audio-...2250100&sr=8-2

There are some limitations... only SD quality (up to 720 x 576 pixels), and you have to play on your PC in order to record your stuff on hard disc ( 1,5 Ghz and al least 512MB RAM). You might experience a minor latency, but rock band allows you to adjust to that, so it shouldn't be a problem. And after cutting, you will have to shrink the size of your video by rendering with a lower bitrate, or else you will upload forever...however - that is no problem with the editing software that comes with most of these tools.

hey tralcave... saw your profile.... cool to meet another Rise Against listener

Well okay. About the recording device, my knowlegde about ps3 aint too big yet. I actually bought my ps3 for Rock Band. (It could also replace my DVD, which was great ) So I'm not really sure what to do about recording. I found myself a nice band to play with, maybe they can record our runs. Hopefully. Cause I'm really not great at these technical stuff. I just like playing the game

Ah cool man. I really love Rise Against, they are so cool. It's rarely to find other mates who enjoys them
