    Deep tracks!!

so, anyone here like deep cuts?

I love listening to songs that aren't well known. Who else does?
Maybe some ones that would work in Rock Band!

ok, my old fav. band of all time:
    Go Down - AC/DC

lol No lie , this song was on the radio on my way to work today!

Yep I love album cuts that only the die hards know. 9 times out of time those are the best songs. My top faves are as follows.

Alice Cooper - Halo of Flies an absolute master piece IMO and my favorite AC song. I go bat**** when he plays this live.
    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/n_pgClrEs9c&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/n_pgClrEs9c&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Alice Cooper - Blue Turk I love the jazzy/bluesy feel and groove on this. Just shows how amazing the original Alice Cooper Group was. In my top 5 favorite AC tunes. Ignore the goofy video someone put to this
    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yP7IIgUe6aI&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yP7IIgUe6aI&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Van Halen - Drop Dead Legs My 2nd favorite VH song of all time
    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2_HSmankmVI&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2_HSmankmVI&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Van Halen - In A Simple Rhyme. LOVE Dave's lyrics on this. A friend once said this was the perfect VH song to play for someone who knew nothing of the band since it had everything. Great guitar riffing and solo, fast part, really slow part, the background harmonies and Dave is perfect on this track. I agreed with him and still do. The best song they ever did IMO
    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/S8tlZbFUTNQ&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/S8tlZbFUTNQ&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Van Halen - Secrets Again I love Dave's lyrics here and and really like the laid back groove. My third favorite VH song
    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Tz9TXkQfXZg&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Tz9TXkQfXZg&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Some of my favorite Iron Maiden songs are unknown. "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son", "Dream of Mirrors", "Another Life", and "The Prisoner" are all rarely mentioned by people when they talk about great Maiden tracks.

Nice choice on Bastille Day! Good tune. Here's one I consider to be a deep cut from RUSH. My favorite song by them.

I agree, good songs all. I love this one, it's bcome one of my faves from the Iron's. Mostly due to it being a killer track and a bit sentimental. My Grandfather fought in the battle of Paschendale.

Edit to add the linky for any history buffs or anyone that wants to learn a bit about the battle the song speaks of. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Passchendaele

I like all of the deep cuts that have been posted thus far, especially the VH tracks. It's weird, though, since Van Halen usually isn't my cup of tea.

Here's my favorite VH tune, I'm the One. I love the breakdown.
    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kTEVYDkX5MQ&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kTEVYDkX5MQ&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Nirvana's Love Buzz, off of their first full-length. Krist plays a solid bassline in this one.
    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZLthJDXbq6Y&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZLthJDXbq6Y&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

The Who's Going Mobile. Out of all the tracks from Who's Next, this is the song I am most looking forward to playing in RB. Pete turns a great vocal performance here.
    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ceN4s5PP6jw&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ceN4s5PP6jw&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

And lastly, T. Rex's (well, just Marc Bolan in this case) Ride a White Swan. Catchy guitar riffs, and I like Marc's little solo.
