    Top Five Greatest Bass Lines

Very few songs contain prominent bass lines, and even of the ones that do, the line is not awesome. Because of this, I think that we all should submit our opinions of the greatest of the greats. For me, the top five would be:

    5.) Tool - "Schism"
4.) Metallica - "For Whom the Bell Tolls"
    3.) Iron Maiden - "Wrathchild"
    2.) Muse - "Hysteria"
    1.) Herbie Han**** - "Chameleon"

Those are my favorites. What are yours?

Hysteria 100 percent deserves to be there. And I hate myself for saying this but Devil In A Midnight Mass by Billy Talent has some good bass bits in it

    My opinion

    In order

1.) Orion - Meatllica(have you head the bass in this song?!)
    2.)The Real Me - The Who(Only a few bassist's can best John E)
3.)Wrathchild - Iron Maiden(Steve Harris is awesomeness in human form)
4.)Taxman - The Beatles(Paul is way too underrated)
5.)Freewill - Rush(Geddy Lee is too awesome of a bass player)

Rush-Hemispheres/2112(Sounds like a typical choice but the simple bass line, especially in the beginning of Temples of Syrinx is purely awesome).
    Yes-Heart of the Sunrise
    King Crimson-Elephant Talk
Blue Oyster Cult-7 Screaming Diz Busters
Primus-Jerry Was A Race Car Driver(The album has some funny songs on it such as Is It Luck and Sgt Baker).

Edit:I have limited knowledge so I may not be the best judge.
