I'm glad it's him, I strongly dislike Hilary Clinton. If it had been between her and Mccain I would have for sure voted 3rd party... now I'm 50/50 on whether to vote 3rd party or vote for Obama.

As a European with strong ties (both personal and financial) and a great love for the US, I'm glad to hear this, if only for the fact that Obama seems to understand the 'speak softly' part of 'speak softly, and carry a big stick'. International relations have bacome a lot worse under the Bush jr administration, and it'd be nice to have someone in the White House who understands the need for diplomacy.

That's assuming he'll be able to beat McCain, of course (and I sure hope so)... let's hope that the die-hard Hillary supporters don't stab their own party in the back by voting Republican because their favorite wasn't nominated.

god i wish there were more people like you. at my school, almost everyone is a republican. i hav a few democrat friends, but a lot of republicans. the worst thing: my gf is a republican... oh well. i'll change her

Thats the thing Im worried about. Hillary supporters are very strong in their oppinions and are stubborn as hell. Just look at her she dragged the nomintation prosses on at least 3 months too long.

I hated her tackics, She made the race into some sort of celebrity watch thing, and she fought dirty. She even tried to gain sympathy when she cried on TV

obama dident fight back much and remainded humble most of the time.

I really hope she isent chossen as Vice president but without her it may cost the election. Although I doubt it only about 19% of our population would want another George bush and Maccain isent far off
