Rock Band -> Australia? Not yet!!

Hello, and yes, I am Australian, bad time for us .

Are we getting Rock Band or not?? We can't even get a damn release date, let alone know if we are actually getting it. It has been 8 months. 8 MONTHS!

March, June, September, TBA! Just pick one! (Hopefully June )

From the way this is going I am really starting to doubt if we are getting it, and I'm sure i am not the only Aussie thinking this.

Can any of you Americans tell me why this is taking so long? I already have a local band together, we all know what we want to look like, and what we want to play. All we need now is THE GAME!!!!

import the game from the UK ( cdwow ahs it 40 pounds free postage) got it y/day

and buy drums from the us (probably ebay thats where i did), then just get GH guitars (or get RC ones on USA ebay aswell) and a usb mic from the shop, ull get it months earlier and probably cheaper

Are you sure that works? I have been told that the game is locked between regions (it might work with the uk versions because there PAL... i don't know).

Another thing... Are you referring to the PS3? Yes.. I have a 360

Another thing... Where is a good place for importing games? I have never done this before...

No problem. That thread is where most of the NZ/Australia-specific discussion is too, so if you want to hand out and moan about how slow shipping is, that's a good bet.

Indeed, we Aussies are still playing the Waiting Game rather than playing Rock Band. Whether you import it or not, we probably still have to wait for the Aussie release for DLC. That has happened with some games.

If you want DLC, you currently have to open a european or american Xbox Live account and find a way to buy EU/US microsoft points.

If you want to buy US or EU DLC, set up an account with Entropay. I'm in the UK, and imported a US version months ago, and I buy all my DLC from the US store using entropay (www.entropay.com). You pay a small commission, but it works.

I hope they do bring it to AU and add some AU DLC like with the Euro release, come on The Living End!
