There were rumors of Def Leppard coming as DLC? I don't recall ever hearing about that.

Are the rumors strong or is it just wishful thinking on someone's part?

Personally, I'd rather get the Vault album as DLC so we could get the best of their songs. We'd miss out on so many great ones if they only focused on one regular album.

I'm not sure where the rumors started and since I've never been able to verify a source, I'm guessing it was just wishful thinking on someone's part. It is a fact, however, that Def Leppard's Pyromania and Adrenalize are being reissued on the 23rd. Seems like as a good a time as any to release some Def Leppard as DLC and capitalize on the reissue releases like they did with Pearl Jam.

The term "Hair Metal" is obviously open to a lot of interpretation, so I'm curious: Do you guys consider Joan Jett and the Blackhearts hair metal?

I'll take any DL but Vault would be epic!!! Going to see them this summer with Poison. I would find it quite ironic that we get no HM in the game as DLC except for two full albums I wouldnt complain, however I wont get my hopes up based on past actions. Not to mention i think something as big as a DL album release would already be announced. Heck, they announced a Green Day pack a month out and DL is bigger in every way over Green Day. I think we are out in the cold guys on a DL album. Maybe we get a pack though, that would make my month.

No, I've never considered her Hair. If anything, the closest I think she falls under is Punk.


*EDIT* - I just looked it up and that is what she is listed as for "Bad Reputation". Granted, that was before she was with the Blackhearts, but I'd still consider her Punk.

At the point in her career when she recorded "Bad Reputation", she was a punk artist. I do think that she crossed over to Hair Metal when she recorded "I Hate Myself For Loving You". That song still has drawing power as a revamped version headlines NBC's Sunday Night Football. Has been slightly modded by both Faith Hill and Pink.

Rumor is we are getting two Warped tour packs for the next two weeks.

I cant see HMX actually putting out two weeks of DLC for this as they have never done that before but we'll see. If it is true and it is two weeks worth of DLC, then we will get Green Day after that. The next DLC release would be July 14th and Rocklahoma would be over..... Lets hope we dont get left out in the cold again this year. Of course, all this is rumor so we'll see.
