Taken from my posts in the RBN request thread:

I have just contacted Hardcore Superstar, Dirty Penny, H.E.A.T, Gemini Five, and CrashDiet. Will post when (if) I get a response.

    CRASHDÏET have confirmed interest.

Contacted Hungryheart and Vains of Jenna. Those in the know might notice a theme amongst my selections.

I hope all these bands make their way to RBN. They are the new young breed of hair metal and any doubters should really check them out.

Also, I agree with Tom, remove the stupid tag at the bottom mods if you would please.

This is usually the point in the week I would say I hope we have some hair metal coming but i guess that goes without saying at this point. Hope all have a great day.
It depends on which version of the band you see. Phil Lewis has his version and he was the original singer (on an album release - Paul Black didn't appear on the first album) and still goes under the name L.A. Guns and all albums after Tracii's departure are made by Phil's band. Then there's Tracii Guns band that also go under the same name trying to make a buck or two out of the name (the version of the band that I have seen).

Mods, please remove the tag as requested by Truthbringer and Tom.

    2) Honestly

    4) Hard To Love
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coZ1AsobF04
I will investigate and let you know what I think and will no doubt request.

Sorry for another long post. Tell me to fut the shuck up if I'm boring you, I won't be offended.

    Guitarjacked,

Thanks a ton for contacting Dirty Penny and the others. I am doing the same myself. Would love to see some of the new hair metal bands release some of their stuff through RBN.

Even though I'm sure the person who put that there didn't mean it that way, the way you described it is actually kinda funny and frankly true.

I got excited when I heard about RBN and thought the lesser known acts are likely to take notice and are also usually easier to contact. Somewhat depressingly, I have recently found out that RBN is only available to bands from the U.S at the moment. That leaves out a big chunk of the new wave of hair metal bands from Scandanavia.

I'm getting a little bit annoyed with HMX at the moment being a PS3 owner from the U.K. No hair metal, still no Rock Band 2 instruments in the U.K. (RB1 instruments are a bit crappy, even worse than GH hardware), RBN U.S. only, RBN pretty much XBN exclusive (problem with Sony more than HMX to be honest), RB2 released late in the U.K. and after Xbox and still no more hair metal. Oops, I've mentioned hair metal twice.

I live in the US but I can only imagine how much that would suck to love a game a not be able to get the latest and greatest. I feel for you guys and I've never understood all the lag time to get it out of the US?? I know a little bit of the pain seeing how I am a PS3 user and wont get to enjoy all of RBN for a long time (even though not HMX's fault) but that is small compared to what you guys have to go through outside of the US.

Do American RB2 instruments not work on UK ps3's? I always wondered if PS3's were coded in regions like DVD's?

I'm not sure about the instruments being region locked. Unfortunately it would cost quite a lot to get them imported. I'll just have to make do with GH:WT instruments for now. At least the UK has had RB2 for a few months now though. Australia still have no RB2. More importantly we still have no more hair metal. Let's hope tomorrow gives us a little treat, such as a Posion 3-pack, to give us some hope we'll see more in the future.

Hey, have you guys heard of this Rock Gone Wild festival?

I few people mentioned this in the Prediction thread and I figured it should be mentioned here as well.

I honestly don't expect anything from it since Rocklahoma is much bigger and we haven't gotten anything from that, but there are some great bands in this lineup. Once again proving that Hair is not dead as this is now 3 or 4 different festivals with these bands in it.

It would be nice if we did especially since a fav of mine (Dokken) will be performing there -- I hate to be a pessimist but I am not expecting anything.

    Prove me wrong HMX!

    Yeah, that would be nice.

Hell, the first 7 artists listed for Saturday are incredible. Throw in Warrant from Thursday and that would make for a killer pack.
