I will find a CD on ebay. I'd rather not buy it off itunes or amazon. if I like it, I'll find some way to support the band directly.

edit: I listened on youtube. good stuff.

    DLC:
    500+ Rock Band songs/exports/bonusDLC
    200+ Guitar Hero songs/exports/bonusDLC
    Guitar/Bass/Drum/Vocal: E,M,H&X

What we need is more songs from Hybrid Theory as they would suit Rock band very well in my opinion and also some Meteora, and the Crawling remix off of Reanimation just so we can have a harmony as in the remix we have Chester, Mike and Jonathan Davis(from KORN)
    Let There Be Rock!

Favourite Bands/Artists: A7X, BVB, Evanecense, KORN, We Are The In Crowd, Paramore, Daft Punk, Adrenaline Mob, Disturbed.

I think we can say more or less that Papercut, Faint and Bleed It Out are guaranteed to be in the next pack or on RBB. They are always played at live concerts, all singles and would work well in RB. The majority of A Thousand Suns though would fail on the 3rd note I mentioned.
    Wishlist (possible artists):
    [4] The Killers
    [1] The Cure
    [7] AFI
    [3] Sum 41
    [11] Linkin Park
    [51] Green Day
    [9] The Offspring

idk, recently HMX seems to be making song choices in band specific packs based on where they charted and their popularity as a whole instead of just within the fanbase.

With that said, based on LP's highest charted songs at the moment, the next LP pack would be:

    *The Catalyst
    *Faint
    *Lying From You

And maybe throw in one of their new songs off the new album to make it a 4-pack. Also worth mentioning, "Breaking The Habit", "Numb/Encore", and "New Divide" have also reached #1 on the charts at some point. So, if I had to guess, it'll be some type of combination of these songs.

I'm still guessing it will be at least a 5 pack.

it better be at least a 4 pack... if Pink... gah... just... gah... Reanimation is fail, I'd prefer something off Queen of the Damned... which was way into the awesomeland.

I doubt The Catalyst will make it to RB due to lack of a large guitar part, you can apply a similar debate from the Hey Soul Sister/Drops of Jupiter argument in this week's DLC thread. Faint and Breaking The Habit are obvious choices and I really hope Lying From You makes it to RB.

New Divide likely has licensing issues as it was made for a film (Transformers 2) of which that film was distributed by the same company that sold HMX. Numb/Encore has the same problems as The Catalyst but I don't think it would work well in RB in general.

Finally I really doubt HMX would not include a song from Hybrid Theory in the next pack or on RBB. After all they did include a very random deep cut choice for the last Blink-182 pack (The Party Song) even when they could have chosen singles instead (Josie, After Midnight, Man Overboard or Not Now*) but as Enema of the State is their most famous album, it makes sense.

    * Of course Always is on RBB so that isn't an option. Also HMX has also stated their view on Christmas songs so I Won't Be Home For Christmas is also not an option.

Dude there was a lack of guitar on Bruno Mars' Grenade also in "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen. I've think Harmonix CAN release The Catalyst although it lacks on guitar and you are freaking kidding me add Numb/Encore > that album was the worst never mention a song from there again.

Lets revive this thread with some good news. Linkin Park played at the Rock in Rio Festival yesterday and here's the setlist. Think we may be up for some deep cuts in the next pack.

    A Place for my Head
    Given Up

    With You
    Runaway
    From the Inside
    Somewhere I Belong
    Numb
    Lies Greed Misery
    Points of Authority
    Waiting for the End
    Breaking the Habit
Leave Out All the Rest/Shadow of the Day/Iridescent *
    The Catalyst
    Burn It Down
    What I've Done
    Crawling
    New Divide
    In the End
Bleed It Out (Includes Sabotage cover)
    Papercut
    One Step Closer

    * This is a medley which has the 1st verses of Leave Out All the Rest and Shadow of the Day with the instrumentation and the last choruses of Iridescent.

Considering the number of songs from each Studio album out of the total number on the standard editions:

    Stats
    Hybrid Theory - 8/12
    Meteora - 5/13
    Minutes to Midnight - 5/12
    A Thousand Suns - 3/15
Living Things - 2/12 (Note: This album has not been released yet)

Sure gives hope for those who wanted Hybrid Theory full album DLC for RB.
    Wishlist (possible artists):

    [1] The Cure
    [7] AFI
    [3] Sum 41
    [11] Linkin Park
    [51] Green Day
