    I love my PS3!

Well fear not PS3 users...there are many of us at HMX who own and enjoy that big shiny black box o' fun (no, not the elite...)

I've been playing Rock Band online a couple times a week for the last month or so. It's been interesting because I haven't found that many people randomly with DLC (I like variety) and it seems like if I don't play on Expert drums or guitar or if I don't get 100% I'll get kicked from the band... /sigh.

I really don't care what level people play on as long as they are having a good time. I like to play at a lower level so it's easier to save my bandmates...that's just how I roll.

Feel free to drop me a FR - HMXzip. Sometimes I'm rocking out with my roommate but I'm generally around on my own looking for some online jamming. I'll play any instrument...I just love this game (and my job )

I can't promise I'll be getting the Pixies right away because I can't seem to tear myself away from COD4 (I pwn!) and that other game...um, oh yeah, MGS4. But I'll definitely be picking it up in the near future.

I can see that you are new. I never thought I'd say this to an employee, but welcome to the forums!

I'm terrible at COD4 But MGS4 was great. Better than any movie I've seen... in a really long time.

Well, I have to say that although I own Doolittle on CD, I was a little weary about paying 19 bucks for Rock Band, as I was unsure of how the songs would translate after previewing some songs off of the album on youtube. Needless to say, I was thoroughly blown away after just playing through the entire album on drums. It was a completely unique experience that I'm sure many will not understand without actually doing it. Doolittle really isn't a CD that I could just play one random song off of and then go and play something else, it is a CD that you just have to play from start to finish. It really felt like I was experiencing a favorite album of mine in an entirely new way. Though I'm sure many will disagree, the album was worth every penny, Silver included. I don't normally play online, but perhaps I'll make an exception tomorrow!

    Well,

My Xbox Live! tag is uppyb0t (zero no 'o'). I have almost all the DLC and have both packs released this week.

I mostly play expert drums, but I can also do the guit.

Hit me up, I get tons of adds a day, but rarely accept. People like good drummers i spose.

Hmm...I'm not sure what you mean, Tony...but thanks for the welcome!

instant, I've just barely started but as I progress I'll post on the MGS4 thread here and let you know what I think of it.

Oh and by the way, if any of you were wondering, Sean is rocking singer and totally holds it down! I don't get to jam with him very often but he was the first HMXer I met and played Rock Band with!

hammy, that is awesome! I know we all love to hear feedback like this and I totally agree that there is something really cool about going through the entire album...especially with 4 players. It is a great experience.

I agree that playing an album in order is very fun. I prefer albums over greatest hits, actually, because of the reasons already said, but I tend to sometimes like the more obscure songs that would never make it's way to a greatest hits.

Unfortunately I purchased a PS 3 and will not be able to jam with the devs. Thank you so much for Doolittle and keep up the great work.

PS Some Modest Mouse would be awesome too.
