    Venom DLC!

    Venom, the band that quite possibly changed heavy metal music more than other band, definitely deserves to be in this game. Really, they created the entire extreme metal genre by themselves practically and to see at least one song from them would be awesome.

    If I were to choose a three-song pack of Venom song, I would go with:

    "Black Metal"
    "To Hell and Back" (awesome guitar solo)
    "Schizoid" (can't find any links to the song. You'll just have to buy it. It's amazing)

    If we're going to go all out and possibly get a full album, I think that the whole Black Metal album would be ****ing badass.

    Who else supports some Venom?

    The band rocks, but it's too hard core for Rock Band.
    Album wish list: Black Sabbath, Queen II, Static Age, Ride the Lightning, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

    Umm... thrash pack? I mean, if you're going to include ANY black metal whatsoever, at least pay tribute to the inventors of it. Besides, these guys don't have the screaming vocals that most extreme bands have. I consider Venom to be a darker, heavier version of Motorhead since they have a somewhat similar sound, in my opinion.

    Let's compare the thrash pack with... Weezer. Weezer's DLC sold great. Thrash pack songs... not so good.

    It doesn't really seem like Harmonix is basing all of their packs on sales. I mean, look at the MTV2 pack.

    Venom would be a great addition to RB. The Pixies aren't overly popular but they helped forge a genre as did bands like Velvet Underground. I also think Celtic Frost was very influential and should be considered for DLC.

    venom would probably actually work well. i'm not a huge fan, but would welcome a song or two...

    Venom would be f**king swee. I agree that their epicness would fit in RB, their contributes to the creation of the black metal genre, as a pack, could be considered like a "change" in RB. Like in real life Venom has changed music...just this time it's in a game. yes.

    Haha, just finished listening to the Welcome to Hell album for the third time today when I saw this thread. Obviously, I think Venom DLC would be awesome. I would like to see a three pack of Welcome to Hell, Black Metal and Schizoid.

    Haha yesss!!!

    What RB needs is the traditional old-school Black Metal, bands like Venom, Celtic Frost, Hellhammer, Bathory, Mercyful Fate; ect; ect;
